A DURABLE, HIGH-PERFORMANCE, AND
ECO-RESPONSIBLE INSULATION SOLUTION

Spray polyurethane foam, also known as spray foam insulation, is recognized for its performance and durability. Used in residential, commercial, and industrial projects, it helps improve the building envelope’s airtightness while providing excellent moisture resistance.

At Foratech Isolation, we provide spray foam insulation solutions tailored to the needs of each project for durable, high-performance results.

WHAT IS SPRAY
POLYURETHANE FOAM?

Spray polyurethane foam is created directly on the job site by mixing two components, polyol and isocyanate, at the time of application.

Once sprayed, the material expands rapidly to conform to the surface being insulated. Approximately fifteen minutes after application, it becomes inert and odourless, and is free of irritating fibres, solvents, chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs), and hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs).

This method creates a continuous insulation layer that adapts to a wide range of building configurations.

WHY CHOOSE
SPRAY FOAM INSULATION?

Closed-cell spray polyurethane foam offers several advantages for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.

  • Excellent insulation performance
  • Water resistance
  • Barrier against air infiltration
  • Integrated vapour barrier
  • Long-lasting insulation
  • Applied directly on the job site

Its dense structure helps create a tighter, higher-performing building envelope.

A SOLUTION FOR MULTIPLE APPLICATIONS

BASEMENT INSULATION

Basements are particularly exposed to moisture, water infiltration, and temperature fluctuations. Applying spray foam to foundation walls and beneath the slab creates a continuous insulation layer with excellent air and moisture sealing.

By limiting thermal bridging, this solution also helps improve the building’s energy performance.

PROTECTION AGAINST RADON GAS

Applying spray foam beneath the slab creates a continuous, seamless barrier that helps limit the infiltration of gases from the soil, including radon.

This level of sealing can be an important advantage in certain residential projects.

ROOF INSULATION

Thanks to its thermal resistance, spray polyurethane foam is an effective solution for roof insulation.

Its insulating properties provide excellent energy performance while requiring less thickness than many other insulation materials.

APPLIED DIRECTLY ON YOUR JOB SITE

The spray system automatically mixes the two polyurethane components immediately before application.

Delivered under pressure and at a controlled temperature, the product is sprayed directly onto the surface, where it rapidly expands to form a continuous, uniform layer.

This method provides excellent adhesion to the substrate and insulation that adapts to different building configurations.
